AJ began her music career in 2004 by forming Aly & AJ’s music duo alongside her sister. The team released the first album called Into the Rush on the 16th of August, 2005, under Hollywood Records. They won the Contemporary Inspirational Artist of the Year nomination at the 2006 American Music Awards through that album.
The duo released their second album, titled Acoustic Hearts of Winter, which also sold well commercially. The team released their third album, ‘Insomniatic,’ on the 10th of July, 2007. The album produced the single, Potential Breakup, which became their best single to date after charting at 17th position on US Billboard 100.
