Later on, following her year of service, she attended the New York Film Academy’s Broadcast Journalism certificate program on a full scholarship.

At the age of 12 years, she founded “Smiles for Seniors”, a volunteer-driven program created to enrich the lives of our elderly, specifically those in long-term care facilities. As it is her life’s top priority to give back and volunteer her time to many charitable organizations. In 2016 she was a goodwill ambassador for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. In addition, she is a member of “MASTA”, the Miss America State Titleholders Association, she serves on the board of Directors for SELF INC.
