Hardwick was born and raised in Speedway, Indiana, and takes a lot of pride in being a Sparkplug! Becoming a broadcast meteorologist in Indianapolis has been her dream since she was in third grade. Hardwick is thrilled to join the team and to forecast the weather in her hometown. Prior to joining FOX 59, she was a meteorologist for WLFI in West Lafayette, IN.
While she was young, she was terrified of thunderstorms, but her fear turned into a life-long passion. She attended Ball State University where she graduated with a B.S. degree in operational meteorology and climatology. At Ball State, Hardwick was an executive board member of the Ball State Storm Chase Team, and she as well participated in a storm chasing summer course. The class included chasing severe storms in the Great Plains for nearly two weeks.
Hardwick is currently working at FOX59 where she works alongside other famous FOX59 anchors and reporters.
