Pergram started his journalism career while still in high school. He worked at WKRC-AM in Cincinnati as an intern, reporter, and anchor before joining public radio station WMUB in Oxford, Ohio. Prior to joining Fox News Channel as the senior producer for the House of Representatives in September 2007, Pergram worked as a reporter for Capitol News Connection.
