Chris Fawkes is an English famous BBC Weather forecaster. He joined Met Office in the year 2001 having completed his Met Office forecaster qualifications in 2004. He has forecasted for RAF (Royal Air Force) and British Army as well. He is is a keen swimmer. He won Hampshire County Masters 50m and 100m freestyle for swimming in 2012. He appears regularly on BBC News, BBC World News, BBC Red Button, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 4, and BBC Radio 5 Live. He is also a weather forecaster on BBC Radio 4’s Today Programmer and appears occasionally on BBC Breakfast at the weekends. Chris joined the Met Office in 2001 as a Broadcast Assistant and completed training to present TV and radio bulletins and is a fully qualified forecaster, having completed his Met Office forecaster qualifications in 2004. He has spent most of his career at the BBC but has also spent a little time forecasting for the RAF and British Army.
