In 1984, she appeared in the thriller Firestarter, an adaptation of the Stephen King novel and Irreconcilable Differences, where she won a Golden Globe Award. In 1992, she was featured in Poison Ivy as the abused and violent Anita Minteer in Guncrazyy, for which she won another Golden Globe Award.
