Minj was a contestant on the seventh season of the reality television show RuPaul’s Drag Race, which premiered on March 2, 2015. She won three challenges throughout the tournament, the most notable of which was Snatch Game, in which she played Adele. Sam Damshenas of Gay Times later placed Eads’ Adele rendition as the sixth-best Snatch Game performance in Drag Race “ever.”

Minj finished third in the season, but was defeated by Violet Chachki. On June 17, 2016, she was revealed as one of 10 candidates for the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars.
