Moore attended and graduated from Jackson State University in Jackson, Miss, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Political Science at At JSU, he was part of the Blue & White Flash Newspaper, WJSU Radio Station, and JSU22 closed-circuit television station. Furthermore, he was a member of the famous Sonic Boom of The South Marching Band.
He was offered a part-time job as a multimedia journalist and Chyron operator during his senior year in college by the WABG-TV in Greenville, MS. Moore accepted the position and continued to serve for WABG-TV until becoming a morning/noon producer at FOX13 in Memphis, Tenn. He accepted the chief bureau reporter and fill-in anchor position at WABG-TV in Greenville, MS in 2012.
Moore was discovered by WKBW-TV in Buffalo, New York for his talents and skills and offered him an opportunity to move to the Snowbelt in 2015 to become a reporter and multimedia journalist. In addition, in 2017, he explored drinking water issues impacting families along Lake Huron, Erie, and Ontario through a fellowship with the Institute for Journalism & Natural Resources.
