Former colleagues characterize Wallace as “extremely convincing in the halls of the West Wing,” according to The Washington Post. Wallace said her experience as a senior adviser to the McCain/Palin campaign inspired the notion. Madam President, her third novel, was published in April 2015.
Wallace was revealed as a new co-host on The View on September 3, 2014, with newcomer Rosie Perez. On September 15, 2014, Wallace made her debut as a co-host on the series’ 18th season premiere. At the conclusion of the season, Wallace left the show.
Following her departure from The View, Wallace became a political analyst for NBC News and its cable network MSNBC. She also appears on MSNBC’s The 11th Hour with Brian Williams and Morning Joe, as well as NBC’s Today Show, as a regular contributor and guest host.
