Philip Rucker is an American reporter as well as the White House Bureau Chief at The Washington Post, where he has been serving since 2005.
He covered Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and Mitt Romney’s in the year 2012 presidential campaign. Jim Wertz, chairman of the Erie County Democratic Party, named him “one of Washington, D.C.’s most valued journalists.”
Rucker graduated from the St. Andrew’s School in Savannah, Georgia. In the year 2017, the school gave him its Distinguished Alumni Award.
