In April of 2008, she began her media career as a news reporter at KULR-TV in Billings, Montana. She’s worked in markets all around the country since then, including Charlotte, North Carolina, and Eugene, Oregon. Domurat is an Emmy Award-winning anchor/reporter with over a decade of narrative experience.

As an intern at KOCE-TV, the local PBS affiliate in Orange County, California, she fell in love with journalism for the first time. She got the opportunity to intern and report at three stations in Orange County and Los Angeles during her education, including KCBS-TV and PBS’ KOCE-TV. She also covered Gov. John Kitzhaber’s resignation and the 2016 Presidential election, featuring then-candidate Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders. During Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign, she was also the sole local news reporter in the room when he paid a surprise visit to a residence in Billings, Montana.

Because of her love and interest in health and science, she has finished numerous semesters of post-baccalaureate education in physical and social sciences.
