Holmes currently works as an ABC News Correspondent for Good Morning America in New York City, NY since September 2014. He first achieved national fame as an anchor and reporter for CNN. He spent 5 years at the network anchoring CNN Saturday & Sunday Morning. At the end of year 2011, Holmes left CNN after signing a multi-platform talent deal with BET Networks The deal included a new show on BET titled Don’t Sleep. In the year 2013, BET and Holmes parted ways. Holmes became a substitute weekend anchor on MSNBC in December 2012. Despite a brief return to CNN, Holmes still appears occasionally on MSNBC.
