While at KION, she concentrated more on every aspect of weather conditions. She also covered stories related to landslides, earthquakes, rapidly spreading fires, seismic tremors, and the torrent that cleared over the shores of Santa Cruz in March 2011.
She commenced her meteorology career in Toledo, Ohio, and worked as an end of the week weathercaster and weekday general task reporter. While in Toledo, she covered stories of extraordinary snowfall occasions, pursued summer rainstorms, and waterway flooding. During her free time, Tamara engages herself in the marathon. She completed the Big Sur International Marathon multiple times and also participated in running the California International Marathon every December. Tamara is also a member of the American Heart Association, SPCA, and likes visiting nearby schools to teach children about the weather. When she visits new places, Tamara lives enjoying the new weather of places, especially the warm summers of the lakes and rivers with cold winter.
