Tim Maddren Biography
Tim Maddren is a New Zealand Singer, Actor, Entertainer, and Dancer. Currently, Maddren is performing in the role of Brad Majors in the Australian tour of The Rocky Horror Show. Maddren is well known for Endeavour, Blue Water High (2005), and The Fo-Fo Figgily Show (2018).
He was a member of the Australian children’s musical group Hi-5. Maddren replaced Nathan Foley in 2008, he joined the group on January 5, 2009. In December 2012, he confirmed that he will leave Hi-5 in 2013. He left Hi-5 in February 2013 after four years with the group. He was replaced by Ainsley Melham in 2013.Maddren has performed in several theatrical productions including as Topol’s Fiddler on the Roof (2007), A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, Chess, Les Miserables, Crazy For You, International Miners Emporium, Street Scene, Guys & Dolls, Little Shop of Horrors and My Fair Lady. In 2008, Maddren was part of the original Australian cast in the musical comedy Altar Boyz playing the role of Luke.
He has taught singing and acting at the Ministry of Dance, North Melbourne, Australia. Maddren also plays the guitar, piano, and the trumpet. He studied at Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in Mount Lawley, Australia. He graduated in 2005.
