After her education, she started broadcasting at SACC. She later interned at KIK-FM in Orange and then got her job producing traffic for Shadow Broadcasting. She landed as a traffic overnight reporter at KFWB-AM. Her best experience came at KNX-AM, where she was an airborne traffic reporter. For her hard work, she was able to work for KABC – TV and then for KCBS-TV, both here in Los Angeles. While at KCBS-TV, She also went back to school to study meteorology from Mississippi State, earning her certificate in August 2009. She has earned two Emmy Awards, three Golden Mikes, and three Golden Pylons.
