Upon her graduating from college, she moved to Colorado where she worked as a news anchor and reporter for a small television station on the Western Slope. She shared on how she remembered looking in her rearview mirror as she was from her home in metro Detroit thinking “someday I will be back working for FOX 2 News”. Amy covered different stories from sports to the news at KREY, and the next stop UPN affiliate KLBC TV2. She also worked as a news anchor for KSBY 6. Many years later, she began working WNEM TV5 which is based in the Saginaw market.
