Denise Wong is an American journalist, serving as an evening news anchor at KOLO-TV since September 2016 in Reno, Nevada. Before KOLO, Wong served at CBS Sacramento – KOVR (Apr 2015 – Sep 2016) in Sacramento CA.
She has managed to cover much from reports for the presidential election to Washington, DC to the deadly nightclub shooting at Bally’s on the Las Vegas Strip. Denise had also served for KOVR/CBS13 in Sacramento where she covered numerous stories on the drought.
She is a graduate from UCLA majoring in both Communications Studies and Psychology. She graduated from Boston University with a master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism.
