Pozen began her career on-air at the ABC affiliate in Anchorage, KIMO-TV, Alaska. As the main anchor, some of her best memories are the Iditarod and covering the 2008 Presidential Election. She went to KEYT-TV, the ABC affiliate in Santa Barbara, California. Pozen covered Kate at the Santa Barbara Polo Club as well as the royal visit of Prince William as a reporter. From there, she went to WVVA-TV, West Virginia.
