Mike Colombo is an American news correspondent serving with Fox 2 News in Louisiana. Mike was born and raised up in Louisiana, he is the host of the Contact 2 Consumer Investigative unit as well as anchors the KPLR 11 News at 4 pm.
During his time at KMOV, Mike excelled in a variety of roles. From his reporting on the front lines in Ferguson during the unrest that followed the shooting death of Mike Brown, to his successful “Call Colombo,” franchise as part of the News 4 Investigates team, Mike has become a trusted as well as a reliable advocate for viewers in St.Louis. Prior to working at KMOV, Mike was a reporter at WHAS 11 in Louisville, KY. Mike was among the first reporters on the ground in Henryville, IN after a deadly tornado outbreak rocked Southern Indiana.
From the courtroom to the political arena, and also the basketball court, he covered it all in Louisville. He assisted in exposing corruption at Louisville Metro Animal Services, reported on the US Senate race between Rand Paul and Jack Conway, and chronicled the Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball team as they marched to the year 2012 Final Four.
