Parros began his career as a theater actor. He eventually gained little movie success. In 1984, Parros made his television debut in The Facts of Life as Michael, Tootie’s cousin. In 1985, he made his first regular series appearance on Knight Rider as “RC3,” a.k.a. Reginald Cornelius III, the new mechanic who worked on KITT; he featured in the series’ fourth and final season.

Following that, Parros appeared in a number of popular American soap operas.
