Envy Drag Race

Envy began drag in college, when she entered a drag contest and discovered that she lacked the traditional drag abilities of dance and pageantry. Her drag profession was launched as a result of this experience and her drag queen buddies. Persistence, energy, and acceptance have all been linked to her successful career. Envy is Pearl’s drag daughter and a season 7 finalist on Drag Race.

Envy starred as Yma Sumac in the Laurie Beechman Theatre’s production of The Legend of Yma Sumac in New York City in 2017. She was also a performer for Katy Perry’s track “Swish Swish” on Saturday Night Live’s season finale, alongside other RuPaul’s Drag Race finalists Yuhua Hamasaki, Vivacious, and Brita Filter.

Envy was cast on the eleventh season of Drag Race in 2018 after auditioning four times. She and Yvie Oddly won the challenge in the second episode. In Episode 4, she won the mini-challenge, competed in six-way lip-sync in Episode 3, and was eliminated in Episode 6, losing the lip sync to Ra’Jah O’Hara. For the sixth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars, Scarlet Envy has returned.

Pearl is Envy’s drag mother when she initially began drag in college, she competed in a drag pageant, where she discovered she lacked the traditional drag talents of dance and pageantry.
